The National Women's Soccer League, a professional American women's soccer league, is located in the United States. The league is owned by the teams and is managed by the United States Soccer Federation. It was under a management agreement with the United States Soccer Federation up to 2020. The NWSL is comprised of 12 teams with a stadium located in Seattle, Washington. There are also player's associations and the official website of the league. It is played in the Seattle Sounders Soccer Park.

The NWSL is a women's soccer league in the United States. Its season runs from February to October, and the Challenge Cup is held between March and May. Each team plays 22 regular season games, and the best team in the league is awarded the NWSL Shield. There are playoffs and six of the top six teams reach the championship final. In the first round, the lower-seeded team plays single knockout matches. The higher-seeded team hosts single knockout games. The champions move on to the championship game at a site predetermined.
