The Indiana Fever are an American professional women's basketball team that has won one WNBA championship. The team has been a perennial contender for the playoffs for the past 12 season. They reached the finals in 2009. 2009 was their best year for the Fever. They lost the series against Atlanta, but won two games in a row to advance to the WNBA Finals. The Fever won 2012's championship.

In their history, the Fever have only won one championship. In 2011, they made eight straight postseason appearances. However, they were unable to advance past the first round, losing to the Minnesota Lynx in the finals after Katie Douglas tore her ACL in Game 2 of the series. But, the Fever have had much success under legendary head coach Lin Dunn as well as team owner Herb Simon.
