Danielle Kang Hits a Lot of 3-Woods

So you've heard about the marathon LPGA Classic won by Danielle Kang. You probably wonder what made her so successful. There are two possibilities. Although it was an exhausting final day for the women's teams, Danielle Kang managed to win the marathon LPGA Classic. As the temperatures dropped, it was tough conditions. Scores rose. Bogeys were not difficult to find and Korda, Lopez and all four of them made bogeys Sunday. Kang however showed a lot of skill with short-game shots and made birdies on holes nine through eleven.

The LPGA Classic Marathon was hard work. Kang's win came after Lydia Ko double bogeyed his final hole. Ko was five holes behind with six to go. Danielle Kang rallied and birdied the 13th-and 14th holes to win by one stroke. Kang had to par the final two holes to seal the victory.

Danielle Kang is a six-time LPGA winner and has confirmed that she has a spine tumor. After returning from a trip in Hawaii, doctors discovered the tumor, she received the news in April. Despite this, she is determined to compete at the US Women's Open. In the meantime, she is still waiting on test results to determine whether or not it's malignant.


The cancerous growth on Kang's spine has caused her back pain, which she's been dealing with for months. She's currently under extensive tests, and is waiting to hear if the tumor is malignant or benign. She has already withdrawn her from the Lotte Championship, and the Palos Verde Championship. However, she is not sure what her tournament plans look like. She will be taking further tests next week.

Although Danielle Kang is not yet at the top of the world golf rankings, she has made significant strides in her career. The 24-year old lives in Las Vegas, with Maverick McNealy as her boyfriend and Butch Harmon as her coach. The first-time Major Championship entrant hit a lot of 3-woods during her amateur career, which could be a good sign.

Her remarkable ranking is due in large part to her ability hit 3-woods and other irons. After struggling for a few years with driver yips she is now No. 5. Butch Harmon is the reason she rose in the rankings. With the help of Harmon, Kang hopes to reach the Olympics later this year.

In the recent LPGA Drive On Championship, Danielle Kang used a full bag of Titleist clubs to win the tournament. Kang used the Titleist TS3 fairwaywood, and the Basileus Leggero2 50S shafts in fairwaywood. Her hybrids included the Titleist 816H2 and 716CB with Mitsubishi Chemical Dimana Blue 70 HYS shafts. Kang also used new Titleist Vokey Design SM7 wedges.

A full bag with Titleist clubs is key to being a top female golfer. Titleist equipment is not only used for golf balls. Lexi Thompson as well as Lydia Drake and Lexi Thompson use it.
