Alex Morgan is a successful American soccer player. She was awarded the Olympic Gold Medal and FIFA Women's World Cup. Morgan started playing soccer when she was a child in California with Cypress Elite. She then joined the college team, the California Golden Bears. She was drafted into the Western New York Flash by the WPS Draft in 2011, and helped to win the league championship. Morgan has also played for Portland Thorns FC and West Coast FC. US Women's National Team
Alex Morgan, forward for the US Women's National Team has a rich soccer heritage. Morgan was first well-known at the 2008 Olympics when she played nine minutes against the Netherlands in the bronze medal match. Morgan has been a prominent player for the US national team and has been a major influencer. She turned 32 in May 2020 and became a parent.
Morgan graduated from the University of California Berkeley in an early fashion and was then a member of the California Golden Bears. She played soccer at University of California at Berkeley. Later, she joined the Western New York Flash where she was offered a spot in the draft. She has since won two World Titles for the United States. In 2011 and 2012 she was also voted the youngest member on the national team. She scored the winning goal against Canada in the 2012 London Olympics.
