ChristenPress is an American soccer players. She plays for Angel City FC in the National Women's Soccer League. She also plays for the United States women’s team. Press made her international debut against Scotland in February 2013. She has participated in more than 20 matches since then for her country. To date, she has scored seven goals and assisted on four others.

Christen Press is the reigning Pac-10 Player of the Year and has been a standout on the field for nearly a decade. In her college career she has set many records, including 26 goals & 15 assists. She also holds the team record for points at 105. She is a star athlete who has yet to win a national champion, but she has had an amazing career.

Press is a Los Angeles native and played high-school soccer at Chadwick High School. Her team won two Southern Section Division IV championships. Later, she played collegiate soccer for Stanford, where she still holds the record for highest scorer. She was awarded the Hermann Trophy in 2010

As a forward, Press has contributed to the USWNT's scoring success. Press is ninth in all-time scoring with 64 goals. Despite missing two games, Press has played in six of the team's seven games.

Press, aged 31, enjoyed an impressive season with Utah Royals FC in spite of missing 10 games due USWNT duties. Christen press returned to the NWSL in April after a short stint in Europe. The Royals traded away former USWNT star Brooke Elby to the Chicago Red Stars to make room for Press, who had an outstanding season for the team.

Christen Press is a prominent player in the NWSL. The former Manchester United midfielder is one of the highest-paid players in the league, with a two-year deal worth $550,000. She is also an ambassador for the local community. Press has made 155 appearances on the United States national soccer team. Her 64 goals rank her as the ninth-most successful.

Press was born in Palos Verdes Estates. Press attended Chadwick School and led her team to the CIF SS championships. She was named Player of the Year twice and later went on to play soccer at Stanford University. She holds many career records for goals and points and won the Hermann Trophy when she was a senior. She recently signed with Angel City FC. On February 24, she will debut in the NWSL against the North Carolina Courage.
