While Ali Krieger has fallen out of favor after her impressive performance at the Olympics, Morgan Brian has had a difficult couple of years. Her last news was that she made the squad. She was out with injuries for two more years. The goalkeeper is one question mark. Ellis has used three different goalkeepers thus far in the year. We will find out soon enough. Meanwhile, the other four players on the roster remain a mystery.
Tierna Davidson
TiernaDavidson, the youngest player on USWNT World Cup roster is an excellent pick for this summer’s tournament. The Chicago Red Stars first-round draft pick is a center back with a playmaker's mentality. Davidson won the 2017 National Championship with Stanford and was drafted in the same year by the Chicago Red Stars. Davidson now has full training, having played 90 minutes for USWNT in 2018.

Ali Krieger
The U.S. Women's National Team has announced the roster for the 2019 World Cup, and defender Ali Krieger is one of them. The 26-year old has three international caps under her belt and was part the team's best defensive performance of 2015. In 2015, the U.S. WNT's back line managed to keep its opponents to just three goals in five games. Krieger participated in five consecutive shutouts during the World Cup. This included the second round of the group stage and the semifinal match. She scored two game-winning penalty kicks in 2011 against Brazil, and helped the U.S. WNT reach its final against Japan. She played in all 600 minutes of that tournament.
Carli Lloyd
It's not surprising Carli Lloyd is a member of the USWNT international cup roster. The 39-year-old American soccer legend is no surprise. She is currently the highest scoring American player and is the oldest player on the roster. She and her assists helped the USWNT reach three consecutive World Cup finals, most recently in France in 2015. Her career is not yet over.
Tierna Mewis
After earning her first U.S. women's national team cap in 2014, Mewis has racked up 47 appearances for the team. Mewis has scored nine goals and served as an alternate in the 2016 Olympic team. Although Mewis is young, she is a very talented player. She's an excellent choice as a USWNT midfielder, and her skills and experience will be invaluable to the team as it prepares for the World Cup.
Casey Short
While it's not the most glamorous job in women's soccer, Casey Short is one of the most important players on the USWNT roster. After all, she's already earned more money than most professional women's soccer players, and her contribution to the team has been essential. Christen, a fellow soccer player, put it this way: "I'm very proud to Casey."

Chelsea O'Hara
Chelsea O'Hara may be a former winger but she is one the most talented fullbacks within the USWNT. O'Hara is a former winger who has played in 115 matches of the USWNT's senior team and U-16 teams since 2004. She has also scored 37 national team goals. O'Hara's playing time has been very limited this year. She made two substitute appearances for Utah Royals FC. But she has World Cup experience as she was an important part of the team's 2015 title run.
