If you're looking for the latest LPGA schedule, look no further. Next year's schedule includes Annika Sorenstam's retirement and the CP Women's Open. ShopRite LPGA returns to its summer schedule, while the CP Women's Open returns to its usual summer dates. Finally, the CP Women's Open will return after a two-year hiatus.

Annika Sorenstam's retirement

Annika Sörenstam's retirement announcement was shocking to many. After seven seasons, the Swedish-born professional golfer will be retiring from LPGA. For nearly two decades, she has been a dominant force in women's tennis. Annika broke 60-holes barrier in 2001, playing a 59-hole tournament at Standard Register Ping. In 2003, she accepted an invitation to play in the Colonial tournament on the PGA Tour. She became first woman to take part in a PGA Tour championship since 1945. She has also won seven U.S. Women's Open tournaments and the Vare Trophy.

Annika Sorenstam's competition schedule

After a seven-year break, Annika Sorenstam has returned to competitive golf. Annika Sorenstam, who made her LPGA Tour return last summer, finished 74th at Sybase Classic. With over $10 million, she still leads the all-time cash list. She has been named LPGA Tour Player of Excellence eight times.

Michelle Wie West's retirement

Although Michelle Wie West's announcement of her retirement from the LPGA schedule was shocking to many, it was made for good reasons. The "Babe", who blazed her path and left an indelible mark on the game, was a pioneer. Wie West was a prodigy and a creative genius who was unstoppable on the course. She was both inspiring and controversial due to her formidable physical presence and daring play against male opponents.

CP Women's Open

The CP Women's Open in Toronto is a tennis tournament that takes place every summer. TonsOfTickets.com offers tickets to the tournament. An interactive seating map can be used to find your exact seat for the CP Women's Open. No matter where you are seated, there is a seat to suit you.

ShopRite LPGA to return

The ShopRite LPGA Classic will return to New Jersey this summer. Fans from the northeast are encouraged to attend the tournament. The event generates over $19 million in economic activity for the area and donates $40 million to various charities since its inception in 1992. Wakefern Food Corp. (merchandising, logistics arm) is also involved in the tournament.

Kingsmill not on the 2022 Schedule

The 2022 LPGA Tour schedule does not include the Kingsmill Resort. LPGA events have been hosted on the James River course at Kingsmill since 2003. The event was originally planned for 2021 but was cancelled after Pure Silk pulled out of the agreement at the end. It is not clear what the future holds for James River Course. For now, Kingsmill is in the market for a new title sponsor.
