The United States women’s team in soccer is one of the most popular teams in international women’s soccer. They've won four Women's World Cups, four Olympic golds and nine CONCACAF Gold Cups. Morgan, Lloyd, Alyssa and Tobin heath are all part of this elite roster.

Alex Morgan has been ruled out of two friendlies against England and Spain due to injury. VlatkoAndonovski, USWNT coach, has released the 24-player roster for two international games. The matches will take place in London on October 7, and Spain on October 14, in Pamplona. Both teams are qualified to compete in the 2023 World Cup of Australia.

Carli Lloyd

Carli Lloyd is one among the greatest goal scorers in US women’s football history. She is a USWNT veteran with three14 caps. If she plays in both South Korean friendlies, she could earn even more. Her controversial career was marred by a split from James Galanis her longtime trainer and a major injury. She is also the highest-paid player in the women's game.

Alyssa Thompson

Among the top young American players, Alyssa Thompson has the ability to stand out as one of the brightest prospects. She possesses the technical control and pace to beat defenders in one-on-one duels. Tracey, the US women’s Under-20 national team's head coach, discovered her talent. Kevins recalls Thompson, 13, when she was scouting clubs in Southern California. She met a forward who was "brave", and "resilient" on that field. Thompson is currently a member on the US women’s national team.


Tobin Heath

Tobin Heath is a forward recently selected for the US women’s soccer team roster. She is an outstanding player who has represented the North Carolina Tar Heels as well as the United States national soccer team. United States Soccer Federation has referred to Heath as "perhaps the USA's best player." She was named Athlete of the Year in 2016 by US Soccer.

Hope Solo

Hope Solo has been controversial in the women's football world. She left behind a complex legacy. She is one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time, with 202 appearances in the U.S. team and a record of 152 clean sheet. Solo is well-known for her outspoken opinions. Her controversial character has been a major talking point in the sport.

Tobin Naeher

The United States women's soccer team is in the final stages of their World Cup qualification campaign. Tobin Nasser was a surprise pick, but she's been a valuable member of this team. She played every minute of the match and made four saves against France in the 2-1 win. Naeher also stopped Steph Haughton's attempted penalty kick save in semis.

Tiffany McLeod

Canadian soccer players have accused referee Christiana Petersen of bias in an ongoing controversy regarding the US women's team's match against Canada. Pedersen gave a penalty to the United States for holding the ball within the penalty area in the 80th minute. Pedersen (a former World Cup referee) was not immediately available for comment.

Megan Rapinoe

Megan Rapinoe has been an unwavering presence for the United States Women's National Team for over a decade. The forward is a force on and off-the field. Rapinoe was raised in Redding, California where she played volleyball with her older brother and twin sister. Rapinoe, who scored two goals for the United States at the 2012 World Cup, and another one in 2015, has been a huge success in recent times.
